I had the chance to capture this intimate international civil wedding — a New York girl and her Venezuelan love, right here in Madrid.

We shot in Madrid’s Retiro Park, which honestly never disappoints. So many corners, so many moods… it’s hard not to get a little carried away with inspiration. From soft light under the trees to elegant, architectural backdrops, it offered the perfect setting for a story like theirs. Somewhere between relaxed, candid moments and a few more editorial frames, these two just made everything easy. Fun, genuine, and completely in their own world — the best kind of energy to work with. There was a beautiful sense of calm in how they moved together, like they didn’t need much more than the moment itself. As we say in Spanish, “lo sencillo es lo más bonito.”
